Do you ever feel like you need to control things, just to be sure the "right" thing happens? Over the years, God has used these words from Oswald Chambers many times to remind me that HE ALONE is sovereign. He doesn't need me to be... nor could I. Peace comes only as I rest in Him.

"Never put your hand in front of the circumstances and say—‘I am going to be my own providence here; I must watch this, and guard that.’ All your circumstances are in the hand of God, therefore never think it strange concerning the circumstances you are in."
